Jane Austen game is a proper MMORPG
Forget swords and sorcery. Ever, Jane invites MMO players into the treacherous waters of England's Regency Period.
Visit Below for Detail:
Ever, Jane is a virtual world that allows people to role-play
in Regency Period England. where the player
advances their character through experience using gossip. Our quests are derived from player's
actions and stories. Gossip is used to
demolish our enemies and aid your friends. The system will notify someone if they
are being talked about too often and a good sleuth may find the player
who is spreading such rumors. If you are caught in your lies, the
consequences you intended for your target will hit you two-fold. Chosen personality traits can endear or collide with others, affecting your reputation and status.
It's more of a game of intrigue and sounds like an MMO version of The Sims. I like games that have a new concept and find that it's important to support these rare gems. However, in order for the project to move forward it needs at least $100,000 in pledges by Dec 2, 2013. The pledges are more along the way of initial membership.
The character animation seems smooth, but I think she should have worked on some of the initial levels a tad bit more. The one thing I've learned about creating a game is about 90% of it is art. This game initially seems more geared towards women, but then the colors are drab. When people think of Lords and Ladies they think about extravagance and elegance. I don't see those things in the initial previews.
Even if in reality, the streets were dirt laden not stone... it's a game focusing on building up reputation in a regal world not a realistic world.
I'm not really into gossip or intrigue. Yet if this looked more like a possibility of entering some facade of outward beauty and inner turmoil... I think I would have been sold.
